#1059 Marvel vs Capcom Infinite (STEAM) Unplayable Characters (1/3): Ultron Drone gameplay.

A playthrough of the unplayable character Ultron Drone in the PC/Steam version of Capcom’s Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

A huge thanks to user GodShin for the values for this game.
The Ultron Drones. They’re basically toned-down versions of Ultron himself, but they also have very little health, and get defeated very quickly. Which, yeah, makes a playthrough with them pretty damn difficult.

They appeared in Age of Ultron as Ultron’s main lackeys, unsurprisingly, and functioned simply as a part of Ultron’s collective hivemind. Age of Ultron itself is one of those films which could have worked, were it not for the fact that it wasn’t epic enough for an Avengers film. Captain America: Civil War really felt like an apology film for it, with its much grander and more epic ethos and moral ambiguity, whereas Age of Ultron feels like a messy but passable film which never quite gets off the ground. Which is ironic when you consider the climax of the film. I’ll talk more about the film itself in a later vid.

They fight much the same as Ultron, only being less powerful and having fewer moves, though they do have a super. I can certainly understand why they’re unplayable; they’re just generic enemies to be fought for the sake of being thought. I didn’t think Age of Ultron was abominable or anything, but after Infinity War and Endgame like, goddamn, it’s just so stupendously bland by comparison, and while I thought the Ultron drones made for some interesting adversaries they feel so small compared to Thanos’ forces. Well, at least Age of Ultron gave us Wanda and Vision; that makes up for the rest of it.

Next up, more NPCs.
